JFK has a few screws loose on his new single "5150" where he embraces his crazy side and uses it to his advantage by being a polarizing emcee. JFK was born in Brooklyn but his sound isn't traditionally New York, there are many elements of southern hip-hop on "5150" from beat selection, to delivery and cadence. However, there are most definitely elements of his roots in his rhyming ability on this record where he showcases his pen game with polysyllabic rhyme patterns and witty wordplay. JFK clearly has a chip on his shoulder after a long journey of having problems with the law he is triumphantly coming out on the other end.
